"What better time to celebrate the first-ever National Brush Day than the day after Halloween—after you’ve eaten all of your trick-or-treat goodies?

To help make the inaugural National Brush Day on Nov. 1 a success, the Ad Council and the Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives want as many supporters as possible to make a pledge on social media.

National Brush Day highlights the importance in making sure kids brush for 2 minutes, twice a day (http://2min2x.org/), every day of the year.

Brushing your teeth is the cornerstone of any good oral hygiene routine. It’s recommended to brush your teeth twice a day with a soft-bristled brush. The size and shape of your toothbrush should fit your mouth and allow you to reach all areas easily."
